Congrats to o iRagE on winning the Dpgfx.net MW2 Free for all on highrise tournament. RagE showed some quality gun skill during this tournament and dropping 28 kills in 10 minutes. In second place came Frozen who had a nasty turn on during the free for all. You can view the tournament on my youtube channel. Hey everyone. I just went out the other day and bought Fifa 10. It’s a good game, I like the skill stick like the one NHL 10 offers. However, my biggest problem is that I do not know which team I want to use. I strongly believe that to be successful in sports video games online, you have to stick with one good team and play as them. In Fifa 10, I was trying out teams in unranked live matches and against my brother, and I am still not sure what team to use. I like using Liverpool because I like playing as Fernando Torres, but I also like Didier Drogba from Chelsea. Any suggestions on what teams to use? Please comment with your opinion.

Its time for another Dpgfx.net Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Tournament! This tournament is going to be a 12 man free for all on Highrise. The tournament will take place THIS SUNDAY at 12:00 pm Central Time! Im hoping for a good turn out for this tournament so please if you’re not sure you cant make it please don’t sign up and take the opportunity away from someone else. The winner will a 1 Month Xbox Live subscription! The second place player will win 1 Logo and Avatar for their gamebattles team! To get in the spirit of AFC and NFC Championship Game football, use today as a Madden Challenge. Today with a friend, play a game on All Pro skill difficulty, and play as one of you being the New York Jets and the other person playing as the Indianapolis Colts. Then play another game as one of you being the New Orleans Saints and the other person playing as the Minnesota Vikings. After the games are completed, comment with the final scores. In case of a tie in the series, play the New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings game again.

November 10th, 2009 was a day of shock and awe for most gamers around the United States. The highly awaited Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 released worldwide. Millions of users connected to their gamertags and played on XBOX Live. The first thing I noticed was how much different everything looked. I was so adjusted to how guns looked in Call of Duty 4. In Modern Warfare 2, the gun design reminded me very much of the Rainbow Six Vegas series.
To begin, new camouflage patterns have been added. These patterns include Arctic, Urban, and Fall. Like in Call of Duty 4, you unlock camouflages while getting headshots with a paticular gun. Shotguns are no longer a primary weapon. In Modern Warfare 2 you can use a P90 and a M1014 shotgun in the same class without using Overkill. Many perks have also been eliminated and combined in Modern Warfare 2. A newly added perk is Lightweight. It allows the user to move faster. A common love for your typical rusher. Many guns have been added as well. These guns include the Model 1887, the UMP45, and the Intervention. The map size has also significantly increased. In Call of Duty 4, a larger map was considered Overgrown. If Overgrown was in Modern Warfare 2, that would be at best considered a medium sized map. Assault Rifles have seriously benefitted from this, however this made it harder for Sub-Machine Gunners to get around. This has really affected me because in Call of Duty 4, all I did was MP5. Now I am just a M16er.
Map layout has also significantly changed. It is no longer, look right or left and sometimes up depending on the spot to find enemies. In this game, you need to check everywhere. Up, down, left, and right just to find enemies. If you do not, you will very easily get killed by a camping enemy. Infinity Ward has done many things that they haven’t done in the past with their maps. Favela is a great example of this. On Favela you can very easily run from roof top to rooftop popping enemies as you go along. This hasn’t really ever been done before in the Call of Duty series.
In summation, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has lived up to the hype it was given. Many people are impressed and support the Multiplayer part of this game. It offers things that no other game has done before. Weapons like Riot Shields are available, and even holding two P90s at the same time is possible. Many perks have been added, and map designs have been changed. The Multiplayer gets a 9.5/10 rating from me.

The first Dpgfx.net Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (MW2) tournament has come to an end.
There were 8 teams that entered the tournament and only two teams that showed up the tournament day, making the first match the championship. The first map was search and destroy on Highrise. Windows 7 was our Idea 4-0′d the opposing team with everyone going to positive. The opposing team said they were going to go host the second map and that was the last we saw of them. They were so embarrassed first map that they never sent or accepted any invites. Even if all of the teams would have shown up to the tournament I believe that Windows 7 would have still taken the crown just by seeing the talent they had.
